Please see our article about Financial Settings as a prerequisite to understanding how to manage financial priority levels.

** You will need Edit Venue Info and Manage Financials permissions to make these changes.

When you absorb service fees, instead of passing that cost onto the customer, it is now deducted from the cost of our ticket.

Absorbed Fee Calculation
revenue = itemPrice - (feeAmount + (itemPrice * feePercentage))

Showpass' base service fee is $1 + $0.59 per item, but does vary based upon your package level and processing rates.

Here is a basic example for a $20 item with absorbed service fees, with fees set at $1 + %5 all inclusive:

  • Customer Pays: $20
  • Service Fee: $1 + ($20 * 0.05) = $2
  • Paid to Organizer: $18

** The above example does not include any tax calculations
** Kickbacks are not applied when absorbing service fees
